My Story
Roman Goloborodko serves as a Consultant and Senior Partner to HCG and brings with him over 15 years of experience in various Human Resources roles from labor relations to director leadership within Private Equity, Family owned, Public and Foreign-owned corporations. As a consultant today, he can bring in support to your organization by filling interim HR leadership positions or provide project-based support with HRIS implementation, People/Organizational Transformations, Acquisition/Divesture, Creating Meaningful People Data/Insights, Crisis Management Review/Training. Having supported C-Suite leaders in the past, Roman can facilitate the succession planning, talent discussion workshops, or team building sessions based on the specific needs of the team/leader.
Prior to HCG, Roman has worked for Mars Petcare, Nissin Foods, Red Collar Pet Foods and General Electric. At Mars Petcare, he was the strategic HR partner for the C-Suite leadership and managed deployment of people initiatives inclusive of new pay structures and talent planning processes - providing advice on organizational designs and development. In other roles at Mars, Roman has supported multiple manufacturing facilities, providing talent support to plant management in succession planning to workforce optimization based on capacity needs.
At Red Collar Pet Foods, he was able to oversee the divestiture/carve-out from Mars to Arbor Private Capital (P/E) and start-up of the corporate function of the business, creating new benefit plans, payroll processing, and business registration within the first three months. Reporting to the CEO, he worked as part of the management team to help drive the business to the 5-year EBITA targets. Over that time, he managed through the COVID-19 pandemic by providing coordination and leading communications efforts to the central corporate staff as well 6 manufacturing facilities. During his time at Red Collar, he also has led the people workstream for the integration of an acquired business working on integration of benefits, compensation, legal entity and organization design.
